I just ran some errands and I stopped at Ollies...Now I don't know if Ollies is a regional store in the Northeast US, or a nationwide store, I have no idea...But I buy things like books, some food like cereal, sometimes towels/bedding, etc. Just a little bit of everything (it's a really bizarre and sometimes frightening store, lol)...
They had a pretty large stack of Fluval 25-gallon tank kits that were absolutely gorgeous for $99.99! I was actually quite shocked, because Fluval is a pretty high-quality aquarium company, specifically high-quality and expensive filters...This kit includes an absolutely gorgeous 25-gallon "modern-style" tank with a built-in Fluval filter that runs down the back of the tank, from top to bottom against the back glass, but is concealed inside of a really cool stone "chimney", that's what it looks like, a really cool stone chimney...it also came with a 150watt heater and a multi-port pump, all Fluval brand...I'd imagine that this kit new from Fluval probably retails for between $300-$400...So it's a deal at $99.99. I would have bought one today if I didn't already have a 30-gallon and a 75-gallon and no room for another one...i actually still might go back and buy one, it was that nice of a kit. And they had a bunch of them stacked in the middle of a center aisle near the pet stuff...So if you're looking for a high-quality freshwater aquarium set-up and you live near an Ollies, it's a deal!
