Hey everybody, we have a 7 or 8 month old CAG who is just a total cuddle monster. He isn't especially needy or anything and gets on fine talking and whistling with the alexandrine when we're not home, but man you take that bird out and he wants to be sitting right on your lap.

His MO is that he'll crawl up onto your stomach when you're lying down and put his head down to signal "Yes, your bird is ready for a scratch on the head."

He's really sweet. Are most grey's like that? I've never met any others.

Mine also loves scratching the head. We have this ritual of 10 min. scratching the head before going to sleep in the evening. There are some body parts that I'm not aloud to touch for example wings though.

Neytiri is 15 mo and she's the same way. This may change though as they get older.

Talon is what I would call a beak-to-cheek bird. Just wants to cuddle right up against you, rests his beak on your cheek and goes to sleep. We hope he doesn't grow out of that!
