I have a few odd hobbies and now I am adding parrot lady as one of them, I thought I'd see if there's anybody else who shares oddities.
Today is the opening ceremony of the Olympics-which is also the start of the Ravely Games, a knitting event that coincides with the Olympics. I am going to try to knit my first sweater during the Olympic games. I've been knitting for three years now, and have my own Etsy shop where I sell hats and shawls and such. I just picked up crocheting a few months ago and am enjoying that a lot too!
I am launching plans to make birdy toys using yarn now...I will have to experiment a lot
to figure out the best way to do so. I do have some very fun colored yarn.

And because the Olypics are in London...I will just tie this in vaguely to Doctor Who. My husband and I discovered Doctor Who last summer. The Eleventh Doctor is my official favorite although I strongly admire the Fourth (Tom Baker) as a close second favorite. Ten-David Tennent-follows as the third. If I were getting a boy parrot it would probably get named something to do with Doctor Who. I love quite a few BBC shows-Larkrise to Candleford, Downton Abbey, All Creatures Great and Small, Pride and Prejudice, and probably about six more I can't think of at the moment.

So anybody else a crafter or a BBC fan? Or any other interesting hobbies?
