I am going to see their show today! I am so excited, even though I've woken up with a migraine!! It wont stop me LOL. Took lots of pain killers for that, but yeah I am so pumped, they have been one of my favorite bands for such a long time and I never thought I'd be able to see then live but my partner brought my tickets for my birthday! I've been watching some videos of their concerts too, they go all out with the lights and confetti and stuff haha ! Only thing I am disappointed in is the fact that I can't take my pro camera So I have to take my point and shoot.. photos wont even come close to what I was expecting to get out of it! But oh well, I get to hear their awesome music live!! Its an open stadium.. and its raining today.. so that will be interesting too! Has anyone here ever seen them live?

it seems that no one likes coldplay haha just kidding.. my best friend is going to see them whenever it is they come to qld, she is super excited!

hope you have fun! and at least you wont be too busy taking photos now, you can just stare at them the whole time haha
and if it rains, well that will just make it even more interesting, maybe a bit muddy though hehe
i have been to a few concerts, we were going to the Muse concert, and that day it stormed so much we got flooded in and couldnt go

Omg muse is my all time favourite!!!!! I love matt Bellamy. See, English accent!!! Hahaha.

our weather was so weird today, was fine this morning, about 10 it started storming and then hailed, then at 12, it was super sunny and hot, and now its lightning and raining :S

nooo! i dont know when it was, umm 2010 maybe? so they havnt been back since..
i have been to short stack a few times got to meet them backstage haha

Ow Tab that sucks, I would be devastated if I couldn't see muse. I've seen them a few times now, they are so amazing. They should be back soon so make sure you go!!

Going back stage is AWESOMEEE how do you get those tickets? I can never find them :| Lol

Wenz the concert was amazing, I even had a little teary moment lol! They were very entertaining, had fireworks going off all night, lazers, big canons that would shot out confetti into the crowd, big ballons (more like balls actually) tossed out into the crowd and we all got wristbands that flashed with the songs! And they played all the great songs too hehe!! They haven't been out here for a long time so i've never had the chance to see them! So glad I could! Chris was game too, he even walked through the mosh pit at one point to get to a stage in the middle LOL crazy!

Coldplay songs have deep meaning to me, 12 years ago when I lost my brother I was up at about 4am crying, and the song Trouble came on tv, and I stopped crying and I just felt like everything was going to be okay. So I listened to their music and it really helped me through some tough times! So for me trouble is probably my all-time favorite! <3

Thank you Wendy, its been a long time now, but I can tell you it never gets any easier... We were very close too.

I'll upload some photos right now, just adding them to photo bucket! Photos don't compare to what I could have got with my good camera, but I'm glad I came home with something for the scrapbook hehe!

Okay here are some pics!

They started off the show with some fireworks which was unexpected!

This is some of the confetti that was being blasted from the canons!

The photo just doesn't do this justice, but it was amazing when all the lights would turn off and our wristbands would all flash to the music!!

This last photo is obviously not of coldplay hahaha, but its me and my brother Ryan. Until a few weeks ago we hadn't seen each other in 5 years! And before that probably another 5... We had some troubles and we just hadn't spoken . But he noticed I was going to be in the city today and he called me up and asked us to go out for a drink or two before the concert which was surprising, so I think my older brother Nathan was up in heaven weaving some magic for us to see each other tonight!

So all in all a GREAT night!!

No probs haha, it was a very fun show! Chris was hilarious too, and OMG at one point I was in AWE! When they first go off the stage and the crowd cheer and cheer to get them to do an encore, we all started singing a part of a song together, it sounded amazing, and chris seemed quite impressed by us haha! The crowd and the atmosphere made it so much more fun! I can't imagine what it be like standing on stage and hearing a crowd of thousands of people sing back your song to you!

And yes I thought so too, definitely not a coincidence! I have been to the city lots and lots of times, but tonight of all nights he asked me to catch up!
