Another newb lovebird owner

Hi from New Jersey we always had a parakeet and we got from a bird farm been going there for 15 years,anyway heard that the owners were retiring and sold the property and was closing.looking at the birds she had,we seen 2 lovebirds while we were getting food for our parakeet . Got home talked it over and the next day went back and got our 1 st set of lovebirds.we really enjoying them.there was a blue lovebird in a cage by itself.the next week we were asking the owner if anyone was interested in the blue one she said no,then she went onto throw the guilt trip on us saying that he's like the kid that didn't get picked for the team.....we fell for it so we brought him home. So now we have 1 parakeet that's 18 years old and 3 lovebirds.

Welcome. Lovebirds are my very favorite parrot. Congratulations on your new three. I'm just amazed you have an 18-year-old budgie. That seems really old. Very impressive
