Quaker parrot
Another visit today, he is down to one feeding. He looks happy when he sees me and comes running over to hop on my hand.

I really think we are both benefiting from the visits as he recognizes me and is becoming more relaxed to be on my hand.

Awww..how cute he recognizes you and wants to be with you. Probably thinking..Take me HOME! LOL

He looks like a really nice size. Tiny little amazon. I am looking to get a Panama amazon next year but I don't think they are as small as yours? They look so plumpy in the pictures the breeder has of their weekly socialization session where visitors come and visit their babies and socialize the babies. So very cute.

I can sympathise- the wait is killing me! It seems like an eternity and I've got another 8 weeks at least until I get to bring out yellow sided GCC home :rainbow1: (still waiting for news of a hatching!). I am hoping that my breeder will allow my family and I to visit a couple of times during the weaning process so our baby knows us well!
Mango is stunning. It's so awesome that he loves you already! Good luck with the waiting!!!:)

He kind of reminded me if a little double yellow head.

What a cute little guy!
YSAs are the smallest of all Amazons and considered to be the cutest, which some parronts might find debatable.
But there are few things that differ them from DYHs besides the size. The colour of their beak and feet is much darker. Also, they don't have red/orange on their shoulders, but just yellow. Well, and their head of course is not as yellow as of DYH.
But the size difference is striking.....my YSA is about 310 grams and my DYH is 460.
I should post a picture of both of my Zons together one day.
Good luck with taking your baby home...hope it's soon to happen.
