An Experiment With Charlie

So we went on a weeks vacation and just got back yesterday. We took Juno with us and left Parker and Charlie with a friend who also owns an amazon. Well he was able to touch Charlie without her biting or freaking out...we have decided to let her stay with him for a month to see if he can make any more headway. I am super excited to see how this goes for her. She deserves so be able to be loved and not just from a distance. If all goes well she might have a new home where he will actually be able to get her out of the cage and handle her. I have left strict instructions about her food, He feeds his zon seed, that he has agreed to follow. So keep your fingers crossed for Charlie.

Wow Heather, those ARE some big news. And how did Parker react when you came back from your vacation? Was he happy to see you?

Wouldn't it be nice if your friend could make Charlie come out of her shell.

Fingers crossed it will work in Charlie's best interest.

Wendy, Parker was really mad at me...lol...He still has his feathers hurt a little but he will get over it. My friend thinks Parker is a devil bird...lol...
