I rode my motorcycle to work this morning. It was a slightly brisk ride with the temperature hovering around 60*F, sunny with a slight breeze.

As I rode out of town on Old Route 66, I passed over Salt Creek, and found myself day dreaming about Skittles (our BFA). I wasn't sure why, but it was an almost euphoric "mode". As I tried to figure out why, I noticed what I believe to be the closest thing to Skittles' Amazon breath that I had recalled. It is, what I believe to be, the combination of the wildflowers growing in the roadway ditch and the almost ripe corn growing in the fields just upwind from me.

The rest of the ride to wok I concentrated on my sense of smell and the changes in the air caused by the local crops and wild vegetation.

Weird, HUH?

My wife says I have a bird brain ...

which explains why Skittles and I get along so well!

Yep, you are in love!
I hope your wife still has some place in this triangle.......:)

Haha, I have similar experiences when riding on my 150cc scooter. Last week I took a ride to go bird watching with a friend and ended up smelling a bunch of stuff on the way reminding me of all the animals I've worked with. And not to mention the bird watching on the way over! Lots of osprey and even a roadkill barred owl (ick).
