Amazon whining

My female BF Amazon whining a lot. Does this all year. Seems to want something but can most of time can't figure out what she wants? Thank you for any help. I increased her sleeping to 11 hrs/day. No change.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "whining". Is she vocalizing in a certain way? Does she do it around the clock, the same, continuous noise? Is there a way for you to record it so we can hear the noise?

I don't know how to record and post. It's more a whimpering like she wants something. It's like "u'hm, u'hm, 'uhm.

Does she make the noise contiuously, all day long? If so, I would have her checked by an avian vet. Both my Amazons can be quite vocal, but they don't make the same sound over and over again. The ONLY time my female Nape makes the same sound, is when she is begging for food.

Some video please. Usually a sound/call like that is related to begging,( food ,attention) or stress (unhappy with the situation).

my BF whines as well, usually when i cover the cage every evening...

She has been to the vet. No issues. Yes sounds like begging.
