amazon loves grand child

Hi My blue fronted amazon echo seems to love my grand child which is 3 years old the bird has only seen her 3 times but he has attached him self to her. If she goes out of the room he watches where she goes , and when she comes back into the room he just wants to be with her. Does amazon have special feelings for young kids. Echo is 10 mths old. Amazons "choose" a person to bond with (could be a child or adult), but when they do, it is clear as day that person in the chosen one. Sounds like your zon adores your granddaughter and that your granddaughter now has a special bird friend (closely supervised of course) whenever she comes to visit

My mom's DYH bonded to me when I was a newborn. She was always my little buddy as a kid, always following me everywhere and ALWAYS very gentle. She still recognizes my voice over the phone and goes nuts. Amazons are funny that way.

Yep. The amazon crush thing is very real.

However a 3 year old child is an unusual target of affection. Obviously, your grandchild needs to grow up before handling the bird unsupervised...

But they crush hard when they crush...
