Recently my family and I went to Myrtle Beach SC we had heard of this place called alligator adventure, so we went seeing as my kids are 4 and 7 they were excited. Little did I know they had like 20 different types of birds several being macaws. The birds were so beautiful, a handful of them were not caged so it was like seeing them in nature it was great. i think youtube has a video of this place parrot lovers should check it out

Oh that was a great surprise for you. I love it when you go to places and find they have birds of one sort or another. :) I will check out youtube in due course.

Ive been to myrtle beach when i was younger! I had no idea they had a place like that :). Ill have to talk to my hubby about vacations lol

Being surrounded by about 1.5 million gators here, I feel like everyday's an alligator adventure :09:

If you ever get to Miami, check out Parrot Jungle. Also even more locally for me, St. Augustine Alligator Farm has a breeding pair of Hyacinths and one of the few places in the world to have breeding Cape Griffin Vultures! The vultures have a 9' wingspan
