I just wanted to take a moment to publicly thank my current fellow mods, Terry, Allee and Scott, for all that you've done for me over the past maybe two months.

As most of you do not know, I've had a second spinal surgery to help alleviate the pain I've been dealing with for years, now. It had gotten to the point where it was threatening my quality of life, so I decided to finally do something about it.

Well, recovery after this one was a bit rougher than I had anticipated, so I've been largely absent throughout the months of July and August. I know it wasn't easy for my fellow mods to handle that load between just the three of them, but they did so gladly and without even a hint of complaint.

A special thanks to Allee for taking on the July POTM in my absence, and then all three for doing a group POTM so that poor Allee wouldn't have to do them back-to-back.

You are all the best teammates a guy could have, and I'm VERY appreciative of the way you all had my back... and neck. Thank you.

Stephen, I had felt a softening in the Force and offered to lend a hand while fairing the Great Lakes. You are so very correct in the staying /supporting power of your fellow mods.
Continue to gather your strength my friend and may the comfort of your recovery be a blessing in the days and weeks ahead!
Huge, but soft, Amazon Feather Hugs my good friend!
You have long been in our prays and know that you will continue to be.
Best Wishes from the Boats' Household.

My Goodness..... I am glad you are doing OK. Sir... I know that feeling really well. Thank you for sharing.... **HGUS** **CHUUUUUUU**

As a victim of being stabbed and injured many times... I am now can't move my right arm. It has been going for years.. I just sucked it up and deal with the pain. the Ibuprofen has been my drugs addiction for years. I have been think of you for the last four months regarding Kise. If my Rt. arm won't be able to move anymore and having difficulty of taking care of Kise. You are the one that she will go to your place..... I will have my C-spine and Rt. arm MRI done today...... 3 X-ray of C-Spine, and 3 X-Rays of Rt. arm were taking on Friday and no Surgery concern yet. The Dr. has concern of the major problem. MRI later on tonight and see what will be from there.

My most concern is Kise. As for work, I can use my Lt. arm to do I.V. etc..

I really am do not want to do any surgery... and if I can't use my Rt. arm, I am done for.

Well there you are. Iā€™d noticed your absence-spinal surgery can be a big deal and Iā€™m sorry youā€™re having a rougher recovery than expected. I hope that soon it pays off though! Iā€™m glad to see you back. [emoji3526]

Thanks, Jim! Your prayers mean a lot! And I couldn't agree more about this forum and all of its members!

Thank you, Lilly! And I am so sorry for all that you're going through. Dealing with pain over the course of years can be an awful thing, I know, but don't give up on the use of your arm. I'll be putting up prayers for you and your complete recovery.

And I am touched and honored that you would trust me with your sweet Kise, but I have faith that all will work out as it should with both the use of your arm and the pain you are feeling. You and she are meant to be, Lilly.

Thanks, brother! I missed you too, man! Here's hoping I won't have to make hearts grow any fonder for a long time to come. (Well, not via absence, at least. Lol!)

Welcome home Stephen! Your words of wisdom and support have definitely been missed around here. Glad to see you back my friend. Hope you're on the mend in short order!

Doc, you say the sweetest things! The POTM Contest and a little extra work was nothing compared to the nail biting worry and concern for our amazing friend and team mate! You were missed every minute that you were away. No thanks necessary but you know we always have your back. Youā€™d do the same for us so you know youā€™re welcome. Itā€™s so great to have you back with us, sending you hope, prayers and positive thoughts for a full recovery.

A special thanks to all our members who stepped up without being asked, welcomed members and answered their questions, reported suspicious activity and helped keep the forums running smoothly. Thank you all for your support, kind words and messages.

Steven/Boats, thank you for your very generous offer to help out during Docā€™s absence. We know how busy you were so your offer meant even more.

Dearest Stephen... I had no idea. You mean SO MUCH to SO MANY here, me definitely and hugely included. I'm so glad you're here. The place would not be the same without you. Thank you for being here, and for being you.

And yes, when trying to describe my teammates, including the two amazing new additions, I can never find the right fabulous words, either. Lol!

Huckleberry, how could I not thank you for all that extra work, sweetheart? You were all just amazingly supportive. And I'm taking in all of those prayers, hopes and positive thoughts! It all helps.

And yes! Everyone stepped up and did their parts, mod and member alike. I'm so thankful for each and every one of you.

Ah, my dear Abs. You mean quite a bit to me yourself. Thank you for your sweet words, my friend. I'm really glad to be back.

Welcome back and I'm adding my prayers to the others!

I am so glad you are doing all right!!! You mean so much to so many of us here. There's a deep kinship that I'm sure others besides myself feel to our ParrotForums Family, and you moderators are like the parents of us all who keep us safe, keep a (forum) roof over our heads and offer unfailing support through our triumphs, tragedies, troubles, and everything else. :) Thank you.

And I love and appreciate the simile you used for us mods. We're all so thankful for the amazing community we have here - you all are truly the best members of any forum anywhere - so we do what we can to give back to each and every one of you. So, thank you.
