Alex's, Senegal's and Conure's Oh My...

Hello Everyone, My name is Angela and I live in New York. I am a Vet tech and have fostered alot of different birds from our local Parrot rescue. Some sweet some not so much...lol. My family has decided to get a bird of our own, the question...Which One??? We have fostered alot, one being a Quaker that my kids 11 and 14 adored and other and 2yr foster being a BF that was very old and abused and lets say not so nice...understandably! So that being said he scared the crap outta my kids. The issues is now which bird to get. Kids want a Quaker and I want something little more bigger, but smaller than an Amazon. we also have 2 dogs. Our house isnt overly loud but it isnt quiet either. I want a bird that will be happy in our home! I love the Alexandrines and my kids r all about Quakers and Senegals....HELP any comments suggestions Please...! P.S. Im a stay at home Mom so our new family member will not be alone very much!
