Hi everyone,
I have a pair of Alexandrine Parrots. They are 3 months old.
I'm facing problems since they are losing their flying and tail feathers.
I have been feeding them chickpeas, carrots, cucumber, spinach, beans and zupreem pellets.

I am really worried, Please help me.

Young parrots are really hard on their long feathers and can loose them just being clumsy or playing hard. Try to give your parrots a few toys to play with in that cage. They could be bored and picking on each other.

The diet is good and they look good also.

What I am seeing is that the cage is sized for a parrot with less tail length, so a wider cage will help! And, as stated above, they are likely bored. Consider adding more chew toys for them to work on and not each other.

Also, consider using natural tree branches that are in the 25 to 38 mm +/- size. You will find that they will be happier on larger diameter branches. This will likely have no effect on the feather issue. But, happy parrots, happy life!

Hey, Welcome to the Parrot Forums!

Other than the tip on the cage & toys

Do they get out of cage time? This can help... as they will be distracted and would want to explore outside.

If they are scared... As a starter you can put them on top of their own cages with some toys.
