i have 1.5 months old alexandrine chick. i have bought him 20 days ago. but now he is starting to bite me. how can i stop his habit of biting?

you need to keep handling yr chich
k and hand feed it more. the more time you spend with yr bird n play with it n hand feed it the more friendly it will get. dont be afraid of the bites just discorage it by twisting yr finger when it bites you.

Is your alex biting out of curiosity, fear, aggression, or some other reason?

Young parrots are often beaky and explore a lot with their beaks. It may help to have foot toys and other items on hand for your bird to play with other than your hands.

Are you still hand feeding??? How's his weight??? Baby chicks will bite profusely if they weren't weaned properly and wanting to be fed some more. IF they weren't weaned properly, it doesn't matter how much your handling him, he's going to bite until he's being fed. Cause at one and a half month, he's still rather young.
