My 13 week old GCC acts very aggressive (most of the time)towards any toy that has a bell.
He has a ball with a bell inside and he attacks this with such aggression. If it's on the floor he will roll around with it squawking/growling and flapping his wings.

Same thing with a bell inside his cage. But, not all the time with this one.
Should these be removed or is it okay for him to fight out his aggression?

Let him go at it! Better the bell over your finger! This is quite common with GCC, same with my guy! Want to have some fun? Pick up a couple small cat balls that have a bell in them and watch the monster emerge!

Remember, once he breaks it open, never let him play with that type of bell directly! Very prone to beak and toe entrapment!!

Great advice from Flboy. Yep, this sounds like typical conure antics :D. It's just a way for him to burn some energy and have some fun!. :)

Sounds like he's just playing!

Clark does the same thing, only I risk him doing it on my shoulder.

Somewhere in the archive I detailed his antics, I thought he hated the ball till one day he walked down, picked it up, walked back to my shoulder then beat the holly hello operator out of it.

It's normal, it's fine, it's completely conure.....

Tango (GCC) has a stainless steel bell that he beats the stuffing out of every day. If I try to change it out with other toys, he goes looking for it until I put it back. It is permissible that I change location in the cage....but not to remove it lol.
