Hey!!! I have 2 parakeets named "Tippy" and "Peace"... i love hum both n try to train hum 2-3 sessions daily... i brought wild parakeets whn they were 4 months old and werent used to humans touching hum.. these were my 1st parrots... i managed to train Tippy to eat from my hand and step up but peace is just too agressive... he sometimes eats from my finger and usually bites me really hard tht i start to bleed... Peace is agressive not only to me but also to Tippy... Tippy had a fractured foot from before i brought hum and i believe peace is responsible for it... whn i keep their cage gate open... peace doesnt let tippy near the cage.. even whn i give food (seperate or together) peace doesnt let tippy eat... im afraid soon peace will kill tippy and i wudnt want tht... I love tippy more thn any pet i ever loved... i dont even want to give peace away to any1 cause i love hum 2... any suggestions how to train hum to be nice?
