Aeternum

Like any of the recent proliferation of ceramic coated cookware, the operant word is "coated".....

While the ceramic coatings may be safe, if you want the pots & pans to last, you have to forget how "mother" taught you to wash/scrub/clean cookware & follow the manufacturer's directions...and...you might want to quit using your non-stick sprays as they apparently gum up the works.....at least mine warned against them & the girls went ahead & gummed up my saute pan ! ! !

Oh, and no metal utensils.....

They're not good at reading directions.....

It says PFOA and PFTE free, so it should be safe. Do you mean cooking oil spays? I never had any problem with them, but I spray them on the top of some stuff (like oven roasts and pies), not to fry.
BTW, the best safe pan I have is this:
Mainstays 10" Non-Stick Skillet - Walmart.com
Too bad it doesn't have a lid, but I've been using it constantly for a year now, and it's fine. My friends gave me some more expensive pans as gifts (they know I have birds), but they not as good as this one. :)

Thanks for the replies. I feel better now. The spray I use is an olive oil pan coat. I know what you mean by the non-stick gumming things up. I had yellow build up on my pan and the olive oil pan coat actually cleaned it up the first time I used it.
