Big Bird _ Blue & Gold Macaw
This was advertised as a Finch Cage. UM does that blue beauty on the top look like a Finch ?

The good news if, if placed in such a cage a macaw of any kind would immediately chew his/her way right on out with ease. Basically a large toy for a macaw and only slightly more durable than a cardboard box against that size beak.

In other news, have you not heard of the rare and newly discovered "hyacinth finch"?:D

appealing to the new buyer.
I see this with fish tanks all the time. 14 and 29 gallon tanks advertised with pictures of fifteen saltwater fish, including blue tangs in them (require 180 gallons minimum)

Notice they had to cut the greenwing's tail off, or it wouldn't fit...

Maggie's main TOYS wouldn't fit in that cage, much less one toy and her, assuming, of course, you were willing to cut off her tail and stuff her in there.

Uuuuummmm.... that's like a budgie/conure cage. Perhaps a mini mac...

Nothing larger than that!

I somehow feel this video has a place in this thread:

Now imagine this macaw in that cage. I'm thinking it would be scrap metal in 15 minutes flat.

I actually love that Hy video... Ummm... No. That bird would not even allow you to stuff him in something like that. He'd let you know in no uncertain terms that THIS JUST ISN'T GONNA HAPPEN!

On an unrelated note, watching this bird not immediately yanking off the next bar in the cage...

Hey Karens, can you imagine what would happen if a BTM had the same bite pressure as a Hy?! How fast would he chew his way out of that cage? Three seconds maybe?!
