I actually took this about 3 weeks ago, and finally decided to share the adorableness. My friend and I decided to take the birdies to petco while we picked up some supplies before we went to the park to let Rosie fly. She brought her Kookaburra Syd while I brought Rosie.

When I was picking out a new leash for my dog sugar, she placed a collar on Syd. SO cute! I had to snatch a photo before she put it back. Syd is so funny, he didn't even care about the collar until we were taking it off and it was in his line of sight. Kookaburras are so weird XD

I believe they did, he was the lowest in the flock and was constantly being beat up so the aviary owner sold him less than the others. He was in his first year and didn't have adult plumage. Corvid Ranch also sells kookaburras.

They're legal to own in California as long as you have the right exotic permits, my friends just stuck added him to their falconers license since he's a meat eating bird lol

Sid doesn't seem to care, Rosie on the other hand enjoys to meet people. Randomly she'll meet a person she LOVES and will dance a bunch for them.
