mostly for the benefit of Perjo (CAG), IIRC chamomile is a good plant to have around a bird and is supposedly a calming plant for pets and us human overlords.

Anyone have any experience with chamomile and their birds, and a CAG specifically?

Human Overlords, clearly you are not owned by an Amazon! :D

Adding a plant for the hope of obtaining some level of calming would require some specific number/plant size per a specific number of cubic meters. A single plant, barely enough to change the dust pattern in most rooms. Got to Love good Marketing!

Please remember that for every 10 people that are calmed by the chemical affect, there will always be one that will have a full blown reaction to it. The same maybe true for your parrot.

FYI: That moment of calm natural happens in our home when our Amazon elects to nap.

Your post crack me up . I don't always understand them at first but , all good things come to those who wait.

I am hampered by an exceedingly dry sense of humor that is twisted with a sprinkle of sarcasm. But my Amazon still loves me and that is all that counts!

So you're telling me there's a chance?

:)

Well there is the benefit of the plant adding color and life to the room as well, and being it is safe for the bird even if she gets her beak on it, it sounds like a solid choice.
