Got up this morning feeling better than I have in weeks...nagging pinched nerve issue. Got my day started, have lots of things to get done since I finally have the energy to tackle them. Having morning coffee and watching W play with his new favorite toy (no, its not a bird toy but something I got for tennis practice at the $$ store) It entertains him for 30 minutes or more each time. He'd managed to push it over near his cage and got it stuck so i reached down to help him out and stuffed my fist in my coffee cup, spilling the entire contents all over my new LIGHT grey WOOL rug. I would have sworn he'd be the one to ruin it, but that honor now goes to me. So Im on my hands and knees trying my best to blot up the coffee before it sets in when all of a sudden there is a piercing pain in my foot! The little **** has walked up behind me and nailed the bottom of my foot just below the little toe. Now I have to choose between cleaning up the blood, or the coffee....grrrrrrr

Oh gosh what a start to the day. Good news that you feel better today but there is something niggling Wrangler it looks. Hope the rest of the day is much much better?

THanks...just laughing at myself mostly....and annoyed that i have to add something else to my already lenghty to-do list. Have half a day off, and three days worth of projects! W has just recently started playing with things/toys. Im delighted that he's learning to self entertain and making yet another step forward in his life as a bird--but he gets aggressive with his two favorite toys (the pink plastic cone and my yellow tape measure). He doesnt want me picking them up or anywhere near them while he's playing with them, even if he's the one who pushes them over to me. Not sure if this toy aggression is normal or not and how i should treat it. He's not at all aggressive with me about his cage or things in there. I can reach in any time without a grumble.
