And had April out for a few minutes but Kelly was done and wouldn't tolerate another group. So put them both back for the day might try again another time.

:18: Nothing so exciting! This is a shelter flight of amazons. I've been taking them out and putting them together in the flight. Trying to find which ones get along. So far I can put quite a few in without issues! No one else really messes with the amazons since they intimidate and quite a few dislike Jeanne. I would take April home if Kelly and Jeanne agreed with me:54:

Are they long term residents? It's awesome that Kelly gets to hang out with other 'zons, whether or not he thinks so. I suppose birds are quarantined on arrival - but if you have a few at a time being given up.....ahhh! the logistics must be a headache!

Some of them longer than others. Everyone gets disease tested and quaratined. Usually we try to get a bunch of arrivals quarantined together but if we get another surrender during that time we can take it to the vet for quarantine. We also have a wait list for surrenders that people can be added to instead of immediately taking another bird on.

Yes!!! This is exactly how it looked to me! The one on the left seems like the innocent who can't believe what he/she is hearing, and the one on the right is definitely the trouble maker! Look at those eyes! Hahahaha!

Those are some sweet flights! Gotta build one, one day.
