About My Green Cheek Conoure

I have just bought my parrot. What is my conoure exact type? Is it female or male? I think it is more than 1 years old ?

He/she is a turquoise green cheek conure however you can't tell the gender just by looking at them He does look younger. Like 1 year or under.
Congratulations on the new bird! It looks so cute! Green cheeks are my favorite kind! So cute and fun! Where did you get him/her?

I have bought it from someone who import birds. I wish i had bought hand raised one. But its really hard to find one in here.

Ah, well I bet with some TLC and time, he will be your friend. He seems like he is fine just sitting with you, so that's good. In time when he/she ages, you can tell by the way it acts if it is a boy or girl

Also a vet, when he is a 2 years old, can feel the pelvic bone. If it is narrow it is most likely a boy. If it is wider, a girl. Its not a %100 but it is just an educated guess. A DNA test is the only sure way of knowing
