Abnormal Feather Growth

I have a Blue/Gold Macaw who recently grew a wing feather (on the leading edge of his wing) which came out pretty much perpendicular from the surface and perhaps a little turned. So the feather just stuck out from the surface. I trimmed it close to his wing, but he recently grew a replacement feather that has the same problems. Can this be corrected or is this abnormal growth going to continue?

google 'angel wing' and see if that looks similar... My ekkie has this quite a bit with the wing feathers he has left. But he has an obvious reason to... :/
Since the new feather did the same thing id wager that it will continue, you should take him to the vet to see if there is anything that can be done.

My B&G Kayko has one tailfeather that has always grown in upside down (Yellow side up) When it falls out and another grows in it is always upside down (10 years)

I very recently adopted a B&G Macaw. He has been plucking his feathers out for 15yrs i was told. He has no leathers on his body he looks like a plucked chicken. I think he was lonely. I am new to this. Any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks.
