I can't believe it has been a year since my Georgie died. A part of me still finds it unbelievable and scary. I so miss her and a part of me will probably always wonder WHY i lost her.
I love you, pretty girl. I hope to see you again some day.
This is a photo of Georgie, September 19, 2010, at my dog Pablo's 14th birthday party, which turned out to be the last full day of Pablo's life. He passed away on the 20th. (He had valve disease so I figured this would be his final birthday, but not the last full day of his life.) The two of them always got along well, and Pablo was the type of dog you could trust 100% (so gentle, so sweet and compliant)--I had to worry more what Georgie would do to him than what he could do to her! Hopefully the two of them are reunited now and watching over us. Oh heck, i'll throw in one of them together too.
