A very bad day

Today has been a real bad day. Last night we had a real nasty storm, and this morning things have gone from bad to worse. First off I noticed that a plant had fallen in our pond. When we went to get it out noticed that there was no water in it and the poor fish were on the top. Luckily they all survived, so far at least. We now have them in a large tub as we can't really do anything to the pond until the spring.

I'll feel more relaxed about the fish tomorrow. I'm still a bit concerned about the shock, but every hour that passes seems to be better and better. The rest of the saga can be found on The Budgie/parakeet forum.

So sorry to hear, im just glad they all survived. Hope all goes well with them in the tub. Good luck on fixing their pond.

The poor pond, is my hubby's pride and joy and he very nearly cried when he saw the damage that was done. The above pictures are after we had cleared most of the rubbish out of it, just to get to the fish. It had so much rubbish in there it was unbelievable.
