A sneak peak at my future baby!

I'm so excited! The breeder just sent me my first picture of the Jardine's clutch at 3 weeks of age. I wonder which one is going to be my new baby boy, Bogart. Look at these cute little fluffer balls with their tufts of green poking through! I'm already in love!



What's so coincidental is that there's another person here in San Diego who has also made a deposit on a chick from this clutch. Our babies will be flying out together whenever they've been weaned.

HOW on earth are Jardine's so cute? I love them. There's one in the local bird breeders' shop called Tukki. I probably stood there and scratched his head for five or ten minutes the last time I was there. And he made the most precious little whistle sounds at me and shuffled around to try to follow me for more scratches.

Congrats on your little fuzzhead!! I love baby birds. So ugly and so cute at the same time. My boyfriend says at this stage they look like dryer lint. xD

I went to the bird haven today and saw a few there, they are beautiful birds!

Kim Kim, I go to Bird Haven every Tuesday so that I can attend the Farmer's Market outside their shop. It was the Bird Haven's Jardine's that got me interested in getting one.

Thank you! The biggest one (oldest) is going to be my baby. The breeder told me that you can actually visually sex these little guys, and that all three are most likely males. She's going to have them DNA'd as well.
