Penny was playing on her play stand earlier so I thought I'd try to get a quick video of her. Of course, as soon as I got my phone out, she decided to become camera-shy but I still thought the video was cute. :D

isn't she cute :) I had never seen a crimson bellied until Penny but I think she is so pretty :)

Aw, she's adorable! I have to ask, were you holding your camera as you recorded this or was it on a tripod? I love how steady it is, every video I take is about enough to make you nauseous!

We have that same playstand, except that ours is missing the original bowls, perch and wire ladder so I had to improvise and add our own perches and bowls, can't complain though, we bought some cages off of a woman and she just gave it to us for free ;)

I'm not good at holding cameras steady either. With my blood sugar issues, sometimes my hand shake so badly anyone watching a video I took would get sick! I see Penny also likes to turn bells into hats! Conures are just so stylish, aren't they?

Thanks! I had never even heard of crimson bellied conures until I saw my friend's CBC. My first thought was that it was some type of GCC mutation, but I instantly fell in love. So, when the opportunity to get Penny came up, I definitely couldn't pass it up!

I actually just used my cell phone to take the video, but yes I was holding it the whole time. I'm sure it would have been harder to keep my hand steady if I was holding a larger/heavier camcorder.

I didn't even know the playstand was supposed to have bowls! I also got mine for free, so I can't complain. Plus, the playstand sits right on top of her cage, so she can go in and out of her cage at her own will when she gets hungry/thirsty.

She does that ALL the time and it still makes me laugh! She's such a goof ball. I just wish she would stop being so camera-shy and show her true colors on camera!
