A poem for my Hahns Macaw

Hi everyone! I wrote this poem for my baby boy Odin. He is a 2 year old Hahns Macaw and he's the love of my life. I just wanted to share it with the rest of you Feel free to share this poem, but please make sure to give me the credit lol

For Odin
I remember the first time I seen you,
Sitting in that little box,
As soon as I looked at you I knew,
We were meant to be,
Just me and you.
You were so scared,
So I held you in my arms,
You cuddled by my neck,
Safe from all harm.
I knew I loved you right away,
With me you'll always stay.
My little Odin, so sweet and true,
I know for sure that you love me too.
My little buddy to the end
I couldn't ask for a better friend.
You have your moments, yes it's true,
But don't worry I do too,
Together forever,
My little bird and I,
If he goes before me,
He'll keep my place in the sky.
I love you Odin.
