Well, the COVER all by itself is delicious!
Thanks for this!

That looks like a cookbook that every parrot should have a copy of. I agree with Gail, great cover photo, thanks for sharing.

Some fine gourmet stuff there. And it highlights the need to vary every meal so the bird gets a range of different vitamins and minerals every time.

That’s awesome to hear I have this book in my amazon wish list. Thanks for the heads up

So, the book came early this week and I highly recommend.

This book is awesome. :smile049:
It is a wealth of nutritional information, recipes for all kinds of foods, cooked, raw, smoothies and some personal stories.

A definite must have in your kitchen for sure.

I learned right off that aparagus is a no no. We love asparagus and eat it a lot. When I make it I always set some aside for Levi & he loves it too. However, no more as I learned from the book it causes GI distress.

We are also big tea drinkers and when I am making a pot of tea I always wonder if it would be okay for Levi. They also recommend offering tea, caffeine free of course .... Yay!

I learned a lot more, but these are just a couple of takeaways ...
