A New Home for a Sweet Conure

We did a lot of research before we got our conure. Everything we read described conures as "noisy." We had parakeets before and considered them noisy as well. But they are songbird noisy. The conure shrieks. Loudly. We have a baby who can not sleep because of the bird. It is just not working out.

Our 1 year old conure, Mango, is gorgeous and was hand raised from the time she was hatched. She is so sweet and so funny. She has so much personality and is perfect, except for the noise. She needs almost constant attention. The kids play with her a lot, but they also want to go outside to play and when they put her down she starts shrieking. During the day when they are at school, I can't handle her that often because I have the baby.

I'm looking for someone in the Dallas area who would like to buy her. I found this place because I want to make sure someone gets her who knows about conures and will take good care of her. I'm not sure what kind of conure she is. I think she's related to the Sun conure, but she is much more colorful than the pictures of sun conures I've seen.

When you are creating your post, go into attachments, click on upload from Computer, then browse.. click on the pic you want to show, then click on upload.... or if you have photobucket just hover mouse over the pic, left click on IMG and it will say copied, then paste into your message box, go onto preview post and it will show if it has gone in properly:)
