We now have a baby GCC. I got him yesterday from a awesome breeder here on the forum. Her forum name is Mythreeiggys. Jade is so very very sweet and totally weined to Harrisons pellets and fresh foods and veggies. He weighs in at 68 gms. and has a DOB of March 14. Wings and feet were lovingly trimmed. He is perfect in every way.

Rosie seems not to be disturbed at all by his presence. My cat is very curious about him so I will keep my eye out on that.

Thank you so much Mythreeiggys. If anyone is looking for a conure this is the breeder to visit. I will post our first vid. in the other thread.:D

Very nice...congratulations

Jade is really truly a sweet guy. He eats his food with gusto, especially the pellets. He is not noisy either. So all you conure people out there, now I know why you have them in your home.

They're one of the quieter conures for sure!!!

You know I thought the ekkies would be loud but they're so quiet and im so not used it....lol

Congratulations! Someone should sell pellet or seed cigars for new additions like this.

Our Jade, Ruby and Max say welcome!

Congratulations, SB. You're going to love him. GCC's are wonderful. Like lovebirds, they talk softly, and carry a big attitude. :D

Ohh I would have gotten a GCC from her but we are 7 hours away!!!
Congrats on your new baby :)

Congrats on your new baby :). About the same age as mine, and mines so sweet as well! Do you have any problems with nipping? My skyler seems to like nipping some lol

I love gcc's and own a pineapple, cinnamon, two normals and a yellowsided. They are so much fun. Little packages packed with lots of personality. They can be so social and all of mine love to snuggle or stand on my head.

Jade is doing so well. He has not wanted to take a bath since he has been here. He was taking a bath with his little brother frequently at his breeder's home. I am so happy about how he enjoys his pellets. That is what happens when a breeder does not introduce the baby to seed. He does not want the nutriberries!! Seems to love my ears for nibbling on.
