Nothing hilarious, but FWIW... I thought I'd share something that just popped into my mind and gave me a little smile :).

I had a hard time sleeping last night, and kept waking up and dozing off, so that put me into the 'dreaming stage' quite a bit last night.

I dreamed that I had a vet appointment with Robin for some reason, and myself and another (faceless) person had to travel for many hours to a place I'd never been to before. When I got there we waited and waited. Finally when we were called in, to my horror... I discovered only then that I had forgotten to bring Robin and he was still at home!!! I was so upset at all the time wasted LOL. :18:

I've had very strange dreams like this before, I wish I could remember the bird related dream I was having the other night, the only thing I could remember was having a bird eat through a carrier!

At least it wasn't a full-blown nightmare, Julie!! Robin was probably celebrating the that you forgot!!

There are so many dream interpretations it is difficult to learn much from them. Some of mine are so loony it makes me wonder how the brain can assemble a "motion picture" from bits of the day coupled with fantasies that don't make (apparent) sense!!

No! Not "my" Robin! You get right back in that car/plane/train and get him next sleep session!

I have to look out for my favorite of your guys, even if we're only talking his dream time avatar! Hahaha!

Oh gosh! Good vets' time is hard to come by so that really was a nightmare! Bet you were glad to wake up and realize it was a dream. By sharing, it should be purged out of your head now. Hoping I don't have vet dreams now. ;-)

Thanks lol. No charge Scott ;). Funny that I didn't realize I didn't have him with me until last minute.

I suppose it's not as bad as when I have dreams about losing my purse or wallet in public .

I bet Robin didn't mind too much;) Just so long as you only forget him for the vet, but if your dreaming of forgetting his favorite treats and toys, you might have a problem:D

Julie, that's my nightmare, too! I have nightmares of losing my purse/wallet or my phone. I'll wake up and need to go check to ensure it's still there. That's funny someone else does that. Shared pain is lessened. . .

Julie, that is too funny! At least you didn't also discover you were naked and without him!

@Oowl and Terry - To dream that you lose a purse or are naked in public are considered 2 of the more "common" dreams people have.

Copied from DreamMoods.com
[To dream that you lost your purse denotes loss of power and control. You may have lost touch with your real identity. To dream that you lost your purse, but find the contents inside means that what is inside is what matters most and what is important. You need to look past the exterior and focus on the inside. If you find a purse, then it represents a renewed sense of self.]

[To dream that you are naked denotes fear of being found out and exposed over your activities. You feel that you are being misjudged. To dream that you suddenly discover your nudity and are trying to cover up signifies your vulnerability to a situation.

How about if I buy new lunchboxes for my kids?
They have planetboxes, imported into the country by my Dad for my birthday - I was that keen. Stainless steel, easy to pack rubbish free, easy to personalise, no finicky containers etc...like seriously, the dream box! I love lunch making in the mornings! But last night I wandered to the supermarket, (in my dreams), picked up two run of the mill plastic containers...and was stoked! ....Hey?? I wonder if I'm habouring inner resentment about not being able to throw prepackaged food/large items into these boxes...
