Sooooo, I got a LARGE block of whatever the heck Chew Kebabs (aka the one and only commercially sold toy budgies can, and more importantly, are willing to shred). Now, where did I get this, you ask? Well, I went to a super-small petshop in the middle of nowhere, and found this beauty. It’s made by Greenfeather Bird Supply LLC, women-owned. It’s called the Jumbo Peg Block, and was 17 USD.
Unfortunately, you do have to sign up to order from them, but I think it’s worth it if the birds love this toy as much as I think they're going to. I put a hole in the other end too, so they could shred it more easily.

Point is, I like it. It’s a big toy for little birds, something I could never DREAM of finding before. Especially one for budgies, with their weak bite strength.
