Hi all new mom here and I got a couple (of probably many ) questions I just got a proven breeding pair not tame

1) What is the best thing to put into there breeding box? not doing it yet tho going to give them some time to settle in

2) I have read conflicting views on having toys in there cage I don't mean fill it up but at least 1

3) is talking a lot to them going to disturb them too much if they were not talked to very much before me? i am finding it hard not to sit in their room and talk to them lol

and how do I add pics here so I can share my new babies to you all lol (proud mom)

hi! im not sure about the first 2 questions but I can help on the third. I think that talking to them is fine, even helpful. it gets them used to your voice and used to you. if they are mating, I think you should just leave them do their thing (lol). otherwise I think its fine.

congrats on the new bubs though!

I have a breeding pair of grass parrots. Not sure about conures but I'm assuming it would be similar ~ We just got this sawdust mix from the pet shop, and the proud Mother supplemented it with shredded paper that she'd been making a mess of for a few weeks :D

Also not sure about the toys, but we had a couple of toys in the cage when they were nesting and it didn't seem to bother them.

Good luck, I hope it all goes well for you :D
