We were wrestling yesterday with a plastic key from my keyboard and I noticed she had a layer of her beak hanging off she noticed it too and stopped playing and started trying to get it off. I helped her with it didn't seem to bother her she went right back to playing. Also I wondered has anyone ever had normal claws when they went to work and when they got home 8 hours later have needles for claws. Holy cow I'm impressed with how sharp they got so fast. Tore me up today hopefully she wears em down on her perch tonight while I'm gone. Tried filing them down but Timneh wasn't to play with the file. Lol might have to bring. Her to get the nails trimmed tomorrow. But it's funny a few days after they get trimmed they seem to turn into needles again and she has to file em down anyway.

She's got a little sweet potato on her beak in this picture too I didn't notice until I was looking at the picture.

Perjo has a beak with what looks like a slight chip line in it, it happened in her first 6 months. It seemed her beaks was growing and needed grooming, we got groomed and two weeks later it was as if another beak was growing underneath the original one. It looks fine, just adds character to her pretty face. Weird to me though and how it happens I still don't understand.
