Angy cockatiel!
How old is he?
He might of hit puberty
Birds just randomly decide to hate things at that age
My sunnie (tango) used to go for my feet as well
I put on cute lil shark slippers and he was horrified of them..
Never went near my feet again xD

Birds don't think feet are part of us. A lot of birds attack feet.

If you don't want a behavior to happen, you make it hard for that behavior to happen. So wear shoes, keep him off the floor.

Every time he is on the floor move him to perch and reward and treat at perch areas. I don't let my burds on floor as I have dogs. They know as soon as they are on the floor I will move them. They rarely go to the floor now.

There's one easy solution. It's called...
SLIPPERS!!!
Seriously. As stated above, birds will probably stop attacking you if you wear slippers. Or at least you won't feel it or feel the need to do something (like punish them, which you should never do).
Keep them off the floor. They can eat something bad, get stepped on, stuck in a door, trapped under furniture, etc.

My Amazon chases/attacks my feet when he's pissed off about something...even with shoes/slippers on
