I've been reading many threads for a couple of years now and I finally feel educated enough (barely) to feel like I can actually contribute. I have been a Veterinary Technician for 14 years, working mostly dogs & cats and reptiles. I have had the pleasure of fostering & keeping many species of animals in my life but after owning only finches and parakeets, I got the 'parrot bug' a few years ago and have been hooked! I share my home with 2 dogs, a flock of 7 birds (too many!) & an awesome chameleon. I look forward to learning even more!

thanks for the welcome Mikey! im still not convinced we actually own outrhawkhead Rogue, most days she is the boss, a highly opinionated and mischievous boss at that!
