25 y/o Military is being very "frisky"

Poco has started to mount and go to town on everything! It is not just a certain toy or blanket that we could remove. He is mounting his wooden hanging toys and hard plastic chew toys. I mean if i removed everything he showed this affection to he would be left with nothing!

Is it normal for an older bird to be this hormonal? He is even doing the parrot sound that I can only equivocate to the "OH" face.
We do give him lots of paper bags and boxes to shred and scratch, is that encouraging it?

It's just a hormonal phase. It will pass.

Personally, my take on birdie masterbation is just to give them some privacy and let them get it out of their system.

he showers with my wife. loves her to bits. but tonight he startled her and she didnt know what to do. we have 3 perches in the shower, at varying heights, so the birds can get as wet or misted as they please. well tonight Poco went to the top one which put him at near mouth level with my wife, and as she finished rinsing her hair and turned around, Poco (while not hurting her at all, very gentle she said) hooked his beak in her bottom lip and did the head-bob and regurgitated for her. the really funny part is he doesnt just pull it into his lower beak, he uses his tongue and like pushes it/splashes it out for you. she didnt move him cause he was on her lip and she also didnt want him to slip in the shower, so she is calling for me. i go running in there and i almost fall down im laughing so hard. she says it just stunk, but i think he actually got some in there.
