Hi Moderators/Administrators,

I'm new and wondering how a posting by ruffledfeathers from 2012 ended up looking like a new posting this morning?

As with many others, I sense the grief of someone's loss and felt quite sad after reading about 'Anana' and then saw a second Conure loss posted by ruffledfeathers! This one was dated 2012 so I stopped reading!!!

Thank you,
Debbie

When a person comments on a thread, the whole thread moves up since it has a new "post" in the thread.

Ahh, just had another look at the site and saw exactly what you mean! I'm a dufus ha ha...any way you can cancel this thread (mine here, about this) so as to not waste anybody else's time?

LOL it happens a lot, so do not worrie about it.

You see something that catches your eye and comment...
and it is actually a great way of reviving topics sometimes.

Ha ha ha, talk about reviving a post!! I feel sad for the loss of the Conure (any companion or human) no matter what the date...I just wondered if any other newcomers such as myself (soft, mushie types) had just read about Anana and emptied the tissue box as well?

I consoled myself by reading the 'you know you're a Parront when'...later...

Search engine is a valuable tool for members and lurkers seeking archival threads to address a current problem or concern. On occasion, new members piggyback worthy situations to an old thread. Moderators will often move the newer train of conversation and construct a unique new thread. Private Messages are then sent with links to all involved avoiding the "where did it go" scenario!
