So I have 2 questions

1. Is it normal that a bird is afraid of the sun when the sun shines on him he screams as if he will die any moment and will try to find a dark place in a corner

2. my bird sometimes has brown stool and sometimes watery stools reattach it another time

Stools are brown usually when the bird is on a non-dyed pelleted diet.

Watery stools if they happen occasionally are normal. If they happen all the time, there could be an illness and it's best to get your bird a check up with an avian vet.

Sun is good/necessary for a bird. If he's in a cage outside for some Vitamin D, you can put a sheer curtain or something over the direct sun if he is afraid. Shadowed areas are good so he can cool down when he is ready.

Hi there, and welcome to the forums. :)

We truly need some more info.

What kind of bird are we talking about?
How old?
How long have you had him/her?
What does the diet consist of?
How is he/she housed?

The more detailed information you can provide, the better we'll be able to assist you. :)

hi nice to meet you :D its a senegal parrot he gets pellets and normal foot ^^ age around 5-6 months she isn't much in his cage she is only a few hours in his cage more questions just ask

Do you see anything else in the Area ? My Macaw stays at the Patio door and freaks out now and then. Took me a few times to see the Hawk Flying WAY up high. I mean it looked like a spec in the sky to me but, he could see it just fine.

What do you consider 'normal food'??? Depending on what that is, it could/would be the deciding factor on the poop, the color of it, and the consistence of it, too. :)

As for her not liking the sun....that's truly odd. UNLESS she sees shadows while the sun is shining down on her, and that may frighten her.

Don't worry about your English, it is JUST fine!! :) I see we used to be neighbors. You're in the Netherlands, correct? I was born and raised in Germany.

Please lose the grit. Do not feed it! Parrots don't need grit. In fact, they can become impacted if they gulp it up.

What a cutie! My suspicion would be that it could be something outside spooking him rather then the sun. It just seems odd for him to be afraid of the sun. Maybe there is something you are not seeing that is spooking him. You would be surprised what can spook a parrot. My CAG bit me for a couple of weeks once while taking him out of his cage to bring him down stairs in the morning. Turns out he didn't like the movement of me exercising while he was down there. So I stopped bringing him down and waited until I was done. All better! :D So you never know! ;)
