Until our Galah comes home!

Marley is my Mum's, and she has a couple of opportunities that are amazing for her but less so for Marley. They're building a home that will be much easier for her to take care of given she's had a bout of serious ill health, and she's also been given the opportunity to study and rebuild her career. So she was faced with keeping Marley with less contact in a smaller space, selling him, or giving him to me. And although I really feel for her....I'm really excited He's reasonably young, well trained, happy and with a balanced diet. He's cuddly and a stickler for routine, and I'm really looking forward to having him in our flock

im so glad youre taking him! who knows what kind of life hed have if he was sold!

it breaks my heart to hear how some people see birds as a source of income! i work with a guy and when i first got my eclectus he found out and started telling me about how him and his first wife would buy every bird they saw and breed them just to sell babies..like that was their job. who knows what kind of life those birds would have! he was only seeing dollar signs and would say whatever theyd want to hear to ensure hed make money..

and this way your new Marley will still be able to see his "mom"! im very happy for you they are beautiful! one of my first choices when id started thinking about getting a bigger bird! D
