I am not 100% sure but our 10-week old GCC was bobbing his head when perched next to our tiel just now. He did about 3-4 episodes of this and although he didn't bring up food, he appeared to have food in his beak as he seem like he was eating something after the bobs. My question is should I discourage this behaviour? Does it mean he is bonded to our tiel? Is this good or should I discourage it? We think it is wonderful that he's getting along with our tiel, Taco (girl) but on the other hand I am afraid if they bond too closely they will not be friendly towards us? Any suggestions on how we should approach this would be greatly appreciated. He has yet to bob his/her head for us but is very friendly towards us (with the occasional light nips)
