Not letting me post pictures

I keep trying to make a post with some pictures in it, but it won't let me! I've tried, given up, and tried a few days later, and it still won't let me. It lets me post other things, just not this particular post. There are like 10 pictures in it, but that's the only thing different than the other posts. Any idea what's going on?

Are you trying to attach the pictures to the post, or are you using links to the pictures?

If you are attaching the pictures to the post, there are some pretty stingy size limitations.

I was trying to post pics from my album. Maybe I'll just use html and post that from Flickr.

How are you trying to post them, and what happens when you try? This one seems to work.

I was clicking "copy image" and pasting it into the entry. It's weird because it wouldn't post the post. No error message, but it wouldn't post the post.

How did you do that?

If you "copy image" you are actually copying the binary image data itself. You could then post that into almost any image editor on your computer, but posting it into a textbox (like where you type a message) wont work because it's not text.

Instead, go to your album, find the image you want, right click and select "copy image URL". This can be posted into a message. If you just post it as is it will show up as a link to your image, but if you surround it with image tags it will be parsed and the image will be displayed.

Image tags are like the following but with no spaces between the brackets and "img" or "/img":
[ img ]http:\\url.of.your\image.jpg[ /img ]

Also it wouldn't post because there would not have been anything in the message. There is a minimum number of characters required (I think 30).

Okay, I'll try that!

I did have some text too, which is why I thought it should post anyway.
