Before you say anything, I meant "smart" in relative term to how WE perceive intelligence - such as how much they recognize us as their caregivers and friends, how much more likely they are to learn new tricks, etc. (I don't care if finches are better nest building artists than African Greys)...
Hello! I have been browsing the forum for quite some time and finally decided to join! I have a Nanday Conure: Pepper Redpants. I adopted him from Florida Parrot Rescue, and there wasn't a lot of information about him-not sure what sex, how old, previous owners, etc. So I'm kind of winging it...
Does anyone have any good suggestions for a little travel cage for a cockatiel sized bird? I know I will need one to take it home/to the vet but I have no idea what people use. I don't need a true travel cage that it could live in for awhile, just a little carrier if I need to take it in the car...
I have no idea if it's male/female, we call it a he. He's about a year old now.
We got him from a local pet store that is really particular about who they give their pets to.
They make sure you have all the right things for the pets and even want you to bring the cages in before you take them...
