Finally got around to setting up a little play area for my favorite girl!! Gives her something to do while we’re in my room besides trying to eat my phone and my fingers 😁 I’ll expand on it more over time! Everything is attached with Velcro and reinforced with small finishing nails
Apologies in advance, any links I've come across on here no longer work or are out of stock.
I am looking for suggestions for tabletop playstands for my Nanday. Ideally I'd like space for a toy and at least 1 bowl. Free standing ones are not a complete no, but I'd really like to be able to move...
I made this play stand at least 6 months ago.
The twins have occasionally walked up to and tested the toy hanging on the stand but never climbed up.
This has to be Merlin even though I cant tell by looks only Merlin would brave being the first to try out something so new.
I wanted to share some pics of Bella enjoying her tree stand. It's wrapped in sisal in some areas to enhance grip. It has a boing, seagrass mat, coconut rope toy, swing perch, plastic ring chain and a little shopping basket with small foot toys inside.
I'm hoping to improve her current...
Recently someone suggested that I get a living tree (potted) for my two Severe Macaws to use as a play area, rather than a "tree stand" made from dead branches, etc.
Has anyone ever tried this, and if so would you please give me some advice on what tree to buy?
Obviously it would have to be...
Well it took me about 2 -3 hours and I put together this play stand for my new macaw "Ruthie" I wanted something that she could have her toys above her so that she is not pooping down on them. The first pic is a view from my kitchen about 10 feet away. She is a little shy of it at the moment...
I went in to sticker shock yesterday when I went to the store to buy branches and perches for a playstand I'd like to build. Ended up leaving empty handed!
Anyway, my dad is a wood turner and I'm wondering what types of sticks and branches I could ask him to start stockpiling for me...
I have a really nice play gym that I made but my birds don't use it much other than to forage for some food in the hanging coconut toy thing. Is there a way I can help them figure out how fun it can be? They aren't afraid of it, they just aren't super interested in it either. Also I don't think...
The PetSmart at the Mueller shopping center has a play stand on clearance. It's normally around $120, but it's only $25 for whoever gets to it first. Only one left, but I figured I'd share in case anyone else in the Austin area needs a play stand. (Reginald would just fly off of it. :p )
