The January POTM Theme was

"Perfectly Imperfect"

First, I want to personally thank you for all the wonderful entries, this month is especially near and dear to my heart.
This is definitely my favourite theme that I have posted, and I'm so glad that so many have participated. Every entry has made me smile through my tears, and I know Phoe is happy to know that his fellow Perfectly Imperfect Fids have shown their true beauty here. I think this is the essence of who we are as a forum community, that we love unconditionally.
Thank you for making this month special.

I had often wondered how one defined a Love Feast. January 2019 POTM Contest is near perfection in that regard. Add the loving relationships and perfection is achieved!

Terry, I know how heartfelt this particular POTM contest has been for you, and it shows in how fitting a tribute it is for Phoe. Thank you for taking your grief and pain and channeling it into something so beautiful.

And thank you to each and every member who has participated this month. Most months I comment on each entry, but couldn't this time around due to the hectic pace this month has had for me. But please don't think it a reflection on the entries themselves. Quite the opposite, in fact, as I have never been so moved by a POTM as I was this time around.

I just voted. I'm not the most sentimental guy when it comes to birds, and especially not the Rb, but Anansi, I'd like to join you in your thoughts. If I were a better writer, I would have said all that. It really was a beautiful month. Little Phoe was an inspiration. He didn't think anything was wrong with him, and he was right. Terry this was a homerun and a touchdown and a 3-pointer. Well done everybody.
