So, I found this AWESOME goodwill by chance that is an "outlet". Essentially, it is nothing but giant open bins you pick through and pay a buck a pound!!! Naturally, I was scouring those bins for Kiwi toys. Washed them all up, drilled appropriate holes and assembled these beauties this afternoon:
Jungle animal mobile (I used a peanut butter jar lid to hang everything from):
Chess piece foot toy. The wood used to have leather and beads, but Kiwi took it apart, so I reused it with these plastic chess pieces-
Sweet treat foraging toy. The teacup holds treats and so does the ice cream cone!-
Barn with keys toy (Kiwi LOVES plastic keys! and how cute is the barn?)-
Carrot foraging toys! So these I made these a few weeks ago, but it's been a while since I posted toy photos. 1 for Kiwi, 1 for our landlords birds, and 3 for my parents birds-
Some other great finds he's chomping at the bit to play with:
Last, but not least, a new toy for mommy! I have been wanting to replace my cookware with Le Creuset, however, that takes a LONG time to save up for. I found this diamond in the rough at the pay-by-the-pound goodwill. Boiled it for a couple hours with baking soda+vinegar, used some elbow grease, and it's good to go!
