Well Guys, I have finally decided to officially find out Codie's true gender :) As you all know, when I first got her, the Breeder assured me she was Female and said he has never been wrong yet!

Lets see if he was right... The test results will be back sometime next Week..

I thought it would be fun to have a Poll for you all to try and guess the Gender..... So, lets see how many of you guess right :)

Hehehe....I can't WAIT to find out the results...and "she" isn't even mine, LOL. :D Mind you, I'm just guessing....;)

LOL.. I cant wait to find out either:) They are going to email me the results which will be quicker.. then they will send the Certificate through the post.

I will be eagerly going through my emails next week:)
 
I was chatting to Mishka telling him about his distant friend's, dna test that has been done.

Mishka is adamant that Codie is a boy... he keeps saying Codie is a boy

I am terrible at determining a bird's gender... so it's Mishka's vote that counts

I originally chose Codie as the Breeder assured me she was a Girl. The reason I wanted a Female is they are supposed to be less aggressive during the hormonal stage.. BUT.. she has been with me now for 14 Months ever since she was a Baby and I have decided to get her DNA tested to satisfy my own curiosity now :) I really dont mind if she turns out to be a Male.... It just means I will have to teach her to say " Good Boy " rather than " Good Girl " LOL

I've been trying SO hard for Sam to say "good boy", but NOOOO, he mimicks Hunter, and insists he's a "good girl". :rolleyes:

LOL Wendy :) If Codie is Male, I dont think it will take her long to say, Good Boy, but .... " Good Girl " is her absolute favourite thing to say, so I have a feeling she will say both, just to confuse everyone LOL

Lucky enough, the name "Codie" here in the UK is unisex :)
 
Well, I'm the worlds worst at guessing sex of zons, wrong everytime.I can't remember my past guess for Codie, but from that picture i'd say HEN.

Richard, when I very first showed you a pic of Codie at 8 Weeks old, I can remember you telling me then that she was a Female:)
We will see if you were right next Week ;)

Wendy, are you familiar with the pendulum? You take off a ring (or grab one from the jewelry box), put it on a string, dangle it over the person's belly..well in your case over Codie's head. If it moves back and forth you've got a boy, if it goes in circles you've got a girl. :30:

Friends of mine did this to me during my second pregnancy, when the army wouldn't tell me what I was having ;)

Oh yes, it works! The pendulum WILL move. But that's about the ONLY thing that was working, lol.

If I say to Codie.. " Are you a Boy or a Girl" shes says.. " Codie's A Good Girl " LOL

I tried the ring on a piece of string Wendy lol.. I am a great believer in in all these Old Wives Tales remedies :) BUT.. Codie thought it was a Game and kept grabbing the ring before I had chance to let it spin :eek: so I had to give that one up, as a bad job LOL

When I was expecting my second child, we did the pendulum thing.... It showed a girl. When we had the scan, the baby crossed legs and the Dr assured me it was a girl.

GUESS WHAT............

I had a boy !!!!!!!!!! :eek:

Ant, EVERYONE was telling me that baby #2 was going to be a girl. Alex was already bringing out the Champagne, lol. Then, when Mark "popped" out, and Alex saw his ...you know... "man thing" exit, he was VERY quiet, while I started doing the happy dance on the delivery bed. :11:

Silly Wendy! Hold the pendulum HIGHER, especially since we all know how well it works. :54: Don't let Codie get a hold of it. Better yet, put Codie in her...I mean HIS cage...and then do it. :32: (I hope you know I'm saying this and I'm DEAD serious ;) ) <--NOT
